SUMMER - It's the middle of June already and we are looking forward to the warm weather and the sunshine. Remember with that, comes mosquitoes and heat. Make sure if your dog is out in the yard, they have plenty of shelter to stay cool and fresh water to drink. Don't forget after a rain to empty out any standing or still water like buckets or chairs that catch water to help control the mosquito population.

Girardia - Dogs love to run in the lakes and ponds around the city or drink out of stagnant puddles. Girardia is a concern this time of year so get your dog vaccinated and try to keep your dog from drinking the water...haha good luck with that!
